My First Bedroom Set

Dropped off the final pieces to a bedroom set I’ve been working on over the past month. It’s for a girls room – one three years old and a little one “on-the-way”. As much as I LOVE LOVE LOVE my boys and making “boy” things, working on this “girlie” project was such a blast!

I love the colors and prints (all Michael Miller fabrics – he is my favorite designer). Super fun, a little funky and totally girlie… wish I could take credit for picking all the fabrics out, but that’s all “Mama Liz’s” creative eye.

Projects I’ve Been Busy With

Been keeping busy with some fun projects over past few weeks. I only see it increasing now that Christmas is getting closer and closer. I have some exciting things planned in addition to GOODchristmas. I’m missing a pic of a large wipe case that I made for my friend April Diaz – who just came back with her husband Brain from meeting their 2 kiddos for the first time about 1 week ago (I highly recommend checking out her blog).

If you want to know how I make the ribbon boards, check out my tutorial HERE.

Check back for my Special Thanksgiving Post

on Friday.  Thanks to my friend and very talented “crafter” Alissa Circle of Rags to Stitches Boutique for her help with this up coming project!!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

ECO-CHIC gift!

Wipe Case

My friend Soo just had her second boy a few weeks ago! I am so excited for her…having two boys is AWESOME. A little exhausting at times, but I love it!

She’s my first friend to have a baby since I’ve started the ECO-CHIC line. I had a lot of fun with this project. The burp cloths are made from 100% bamboo yarn – soft, light weight and breathable, dries quickly, hypoallergenic, antimicrobial, organic!!! I can’t wait to make more!

Wipe Holder Cover

Custom Wipe Case

Saw these at a boutique, selling for $35+ … WHAT?!?! That’s crazy! This project was too easy to pass up making. I have a lot of friends that really wanted the holder after they saw it in the the store… thought it would make for some great gifts!

* Plastic wipe holder (I found my square one @ Babies-R-U, and the Huggies one with the rounded edges @ CVS)

* Left over fabric from breastfeeding cover (or new fabric). 4.5″x8.5″ and 4.75″x8.75″ for the rectangular one and just traced around the Huggies

* Ribbon (or another type of trim)

* Sticky Strip tape (from Stampin’ Up. My Demonstrators name is Christine Harlin – you will love her!)

* Hot Glue

How to make your Wipe Holder Cover

1. Cut 2 pieces of fabric 4.5″ x 8.5″ (top) and 4.75″ x 8.75″ (bottom)

2. Line edges of both top and bottom with sticky strip tape and attach fabric.

3. Attach ribbon along the edges using hot glue.

4. Accessorize as you wish!!!

See. I told you it was super easy!
